Hey there, I'm Dani

I'm a self taught photographer, northern lights chaser and a coffee-addict.

I started photography when I was about 12 years old. Ever since I could remember I was drawn to the outdoors. The way the sun feels on your skin early in the morning after a chilly night, or the subtle dance of the northern lights on the horizon while a loon calls in the distance. I absolutely love the thrill of taking that -one- photo and it embody a feeling like that.

I have worked with and loved animals all my life, which is actually what started my passion for photography. I am the youngest of five and lived on a farm, so my subjects at the time were mainly my horses and dogs. I've since then worked at a vet clinic for about 6 years and a dog boarding/grooming center for 2.

Editing is my creative outlet. You can usually find me with a cup of coffee, a blanket with a cat on it (99% of the time its Koi), headphones in and listening to songs that fit the emotion of the session I'm editing at that time.
